Thursday Doors

I pass this building every time I walk to work and should have included it in Thursday Doors before now. The bright paint almost screams at me from the stonework, imploring me to take a photograph. How could I continue ignoring such a pretty colour? If you would like to see a varied collection of interesting doors, have a look at Norm’s blog and click the blue button at the bottom of his post.

That bright colour sure does jump out at you. It’s amazing how we can walk past something without really noticing it. Lately I’m finding myself taking a second look at a lot of doors I walked past without really paying attention previously.

The owners probably wanted to be able to tell visitors to look for the turquoise (or is that more aquamarine?) doors!

What fun! Like the epitome of contrast. I love that color and especially effective because of the extreme contrast. http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/10/open-and-shut-thursday-doors-challenge/

    • I’m always attracted to a stone building or wall but this time it was the bright colour that caught my eye. I’ve just had a look at your door and love how you used an open one with the bits of rubbish displayed. Great content in that photo.

Amazing that someone would use that vibrant color on a door like that. Would be interesting to find out their story……oh maybe it is painted that color so it is easier to find….haha
