Mama Tina

Christina Noble

Seeing as it’s International Women’s Day, I wanted to share a post about a woman who has made a huge difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Having spent an impoverished childhood in the slums of 1950’s Dublin, she has drawn on her own experience to help children in similar circumstances today. I had heard of this caring and generous woman before but it wasn’t until I watched a documentary about her life and her work that I understood how much of an impact she has been having on so many young lives. Her name is Christina Noble aka ‘Mama Tina’ and you can read her story here.
