It’s a beautiful place.
I like how the cottages look like they’re getting bigger, but I’m not excited that they all look the same. It’s like many of the housing developments in the States. Don’t come home the worse for drink or you may end up at the wrong house. 🙂
Lol! Good job they are all painted different colours, Janet. These were built as holiday homes but a couple of them seem to be lived in year round.
Thank you 🙂
Love your photo Jean!
Thanks, Arlene. We have our boat moored across from those houses.
That’s the view from our boat, Joanne. I love it there, especially when the sun is shining and the water is so still. We’ve been staying on the boat while working on the house, I can’t wait to move there permanently.
I was wondering about that. I thought maybe the boat on the opposite shore might be your’s.
I imagine living on the boat has been challenging but the view is lovely!
We are still renting a house in Youghal (4 hour drive from Cavan) so we are dividing our time between the two, Joanne. It will be nice when we finally move and don’t have so much traveling to do. 🙂
I can see that the driving would wear you down after a while. Hope the renos continue at a good pace!
Thanks, Joanne. I’ll post some photos of the progress on Thursday Doors soon.
