I’m not sure which caught my eye first, the vivid red sash and matching fire hydrant, or the cow’s head sticking through the pane of glass. Interesting shop front in Lisbon, Portugal. No doubt, someone with a vivid imagination thought this one up.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Vivid.”

Interesting. Never been to Portugal but I’ve seen some of the beautiful ceramics they produce.

Fabulous ceramics. I could only bring a very small sample home with me on the plane.

This is not only ‘vivid’ but cute, funny, and certainly brings a smile. 🙂

Thanks, Judy. I wish I had captured my mother almost walking into the cow’s head as she came out of the shop – that was really funny.

That’s really interesting. I’d say that works pretty well for vivid.

Thanks Dan, Red does stand out as a colour, I guess it’s why red nail polish is so popular. 😉

If you saw my wardrobe you would never describe it as vivid, Susie. The main colour is grey, fifty shades of it to be exact. 😉

Lol, good one Joan. This was a gift store, with some porcelain mugs. It would definitely make a brilliant shop front for a ‘china shop.’
